1. Introduction

Welcome to LeadWebia ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services. By using our service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect About Your Business (Leads)

The core function of our service is to find and analyze business leads. To do this, we collect and process publicly available information about businesses from third-party sources, such as Google Maps. This information includes, but is not limited to:

  • Business name, address, and phone number.
  • Business category and online ratings.
  • Website URL.
  • Publicly available contact information including email addresses (e.g., Gmail) and social media profiles.
  • Publicly available SEO and website performance metrics.

We strive to collect data that pertains to businesses, not individuals' personal data. However, some business contact information (like a phone number) may be considered personal data in certain jurisdictions.

Legal Basis: We process business information based on Legitimate Interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our interest lies in facilitating B2B commercial relationships and providing digital intelligence to improve business visibility. We have conducted a balancing test to ensure this does not override the fundamental rights of the data subjects, as the data is strictly professional and already public.

3. Data Sources & Notification Exception

We collect data from publicly available sources (such as Google Maps and business websites). Due to the large volume of indexed data, individual notification to each data subject proves impossible or involves a disproportionate effort (pursuant to Art. 14(5)(b) GDPR). Therefore, we provide this public information in our Privacy Policy and offer a simple Opt-out mechanism.

4. Personal Information We Collect From You (Our Users)

To provide our service, we collect the following personal information directly from our registered users:

  • Identity Data: Includes your full name and email address, as provided during signup or through a third-party provider like Google.
  • Contact Data: Your email address for communication purposes.
  • Financial Data: We do not store your credit card details. All payment transactions are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We only store information related to your subscription plan and billing history.
  • Usage Data: Includes information about how you use our service, such as search queries, saved leads, and features you interact with.
  • User Interests: Information about the types of businesses or industries you are interested in finding leads for, to personalize and optimize the service for you.
  • Search Location Data: The geographical location or area you specify when searching for leads, to provide relevant business information in your chosen region.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain our service.
  • To process your transactions and manage your subscription.
  • To manage your account, including your credits and plan.
  • To communicate with you, including for customer support and service updates.
  • To improve our service and develop new features.

6. Third-Party Service Providers (Sub-processors)

We rely on trusted third-party services to provide our application. These companies will have access to some of your data, and they have their own privacy policies in place.

  • Supabase: Our provider for database hosting, user authentication, and storage.
  • Stripe: Our secure payment processing provider for handling subscriptions and payments.
  • Google: Used for user authentication (Sign in with Google).
  • Data Aggregation Partners: We use third-party infrastructure services to perform real-time indexing of public information. These providers process search queries strictly to retrieve business data.
  • Geonames: Used as a reference database for geographical locations and city data.

7. Data Security and Retention

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your data. We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. We will delete your personal data upon request or after a prolonged period of inactivity, in accordance with applicable laws.

8. Right to Object / Opt-out

Right to Object (Opt-out): If you are a business owner and your professional data appears in our index, you have the absolute right to object to this processing. You can request the removal of your listing by emailing hello@leadwebia.com with the subject 'Remove My Business'. We will process this request within 30 days.

9. Your Legal Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data, including the right to request access, correction, or erasure of your data. To make such a request, please contact us.
